How This Works

This calculator uses the Resting Energy Requirement (RER) formula for cats combined with lifestyle factors to determine your cat's daily calorie needs, then converts that to food portions based on your food's calorie density.

RER = 70 × (weight in kg)^0.75
Daily calories = RER × lifestyle factor × body condition factor
Adjustments for kittens, seniors, and activity levels
